Confederation of Indian Industry (SR) in partnership with Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) is organising the 2nd Edition of the CII AeroDef Tech Summit 2025 on the theme “Defining Tomorrow: Tech-Driven Defence for a Developed India”, scheduled on 26 September 2025 (Friday) at The Leela Palace, Bengaluru.

India’s Defence sector has undergone a significant transformation over the past decade, driven by the Government’s thrust on Self-Reliance and Atmanirbharta. At the core of this progress lie advancements in indigenous R&D, strategic collaborations, and a growing export-oriented approach. The recent success of Operation Sindoor has further underscored India’s capabilities and innovation in defence technology. 

Summit Objective
The CII AeroDef Tech Summit 2025 aims to convene senior Government officials, Armed Forces leaders, industry captains, scientists, MSMEs, startups, and academia to deliberate on emerging technologies and strategies that will shape India’s future in defence and aerospace.

Key Sessions Include:

  • Inaugural Session:

    Vision 2047 – Aerospace & Defence as Pillars of Viksit Bharat
    Focus: Aligning defence technologies with national security and development goals.

  • CxO Panel Discussion: The Path to “Make for World” from “Make in India”

    Focus: Policy initiatives, homegrown technology, global collaborations, export potential, and skill development.

  • Session 1: Technologies Shaping the Battlefield

    Focus: C4ISR, AI, Industry 6.0, Quantum Tech, Precision Munitions, IoT, Robotics, Geospatial Intelligence.

  • Session 2: Indigenisation – Powering India to Strength and Self-Reliance

    Focus: Radars, Missiles, Drones, Satellite Surveillance, MSME/startup role, indigenous platforms.

  • Session 3: Digital Defence – The New Frontier of Electronic & Cyber Warfare

    Focus: EW, Cybersecurity, IoT in defence, cyber resilience, and smart defence solutions.


The summit starts at 0930 Hrs (Registration starts at 0830 Hrs.) and conclude at 1700 Hrs.
